TikTok Denies Hacker Claims of Data Breach  

TikTok has poured water on a hacking group’s claims to have breached the video platform’s source code and user data. So reports Bleeping Computer.

TikTokTikTok said that the data posted by a group calling itself “AgainstTheWest” on a hacking forum was “completely unrelated” to it.

The threat actor posted screenshots of an alleged database belonging to both TikTok and WeChat, which purportedly held more than two billion records and 790GB.
