Trial Data is Set for Alleged Capital One Hacker

A trial for the Seattle software engineer accused of orchestrating a massive breach of Capital One users’ personal data has been scheduled for March 2020. So reports local King 5 News.

Paige Thompson, who was arrested in July, has been released on bond and is prohibited from using the internet. Federal investigators said the breach involved the data of about 100 million Capital One customers, although there was no indication that the data was distributed to others.
