Crypto Exchange Coinsquare Warns Clients of Data Breach  

Coinsquare, among the biggest cryptocurrency exchanges in Canada, has notified customers that an unauthorized third party accessed a customer database holding personal information. So reports CoinDesk.

CoinsquareIn an email to clients, Coinsquare said that the so-called “data incident” involved “customer names, email addresses, residential addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, device IDs, public wallet addresses, transaction history and account balances.”

Coinsquare added that there is “no evidence any of this information was viewed by the bad actor.”
