The Commerce Department has added the six groups, which were previously sanctioned by the Treasury Department in April, to a list of entities that can’t be sold to by U.S. companies without special approval.
The organizations are: Aktsionernoe Obshchaestvo AST; Aktsionernoe Obshchestvo Pasit; Aktsionernoe Obshchestvo Pozitiv Teknolodzhiz (aka JSC Positive Technologies); Federal State Autonomous Institution Military Innovative Technopolis Era; Federal State Autonomous Scientific Establishment Scientific Research Institute Specialized Security Computing Devices and Automation (SVA); and Obshchestvo S Ogranichennoi Otvetstvennostyu Neobit.
