2021’s Breaches Highlight Cybersecurity Labor Shortage  

The recent Colonial Pipeline ransomware attack and Microsoft’s announcement that the SolarWinds hackers have mounted a fresh attack on organizations globally have brought renewed attention to the cybersecurity industry’s venerable labor shortage. So reports CNN.

Sought-after roles span from entry-level security analysts to executives who can communicate the cyber threat to CEOs and boards of directors. Even Colonial Pipeline was hiring for a cybersecurity manager in the weeks before it was hit.
