Iran Cyber Tensions Rise After Nuclear Site Fire

A fire at an Iranian nuclear facility could lead to the cybercommunity getting caught up in a hacking fight. So reports The Washington Post.

iran banner 2025565 1280Some Iranian officials blamed the fire on a possible cyber attack, as the Christian Science Monitor also reports

The facility was previously attacked using the Stuxnet computer virus, widely thought to have been created by the United States and Israel. U.S. officials didn’t immediately comment on the fire, while Benny Gantz, Israeli Defense Minister, said "not every incident that transpires in Iran necessarily has something to do with us.”
