MGM Resort’s Data Breach Leads to Class Action

An MGM Resorts customer has filed a class action lawsuit over a data breach the casino operator suffered last year. So reports the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

gavel 3576932 640smallMGM confirmed in February that last summer it discovered a breach that reportedly may have affected 10.6 million hotel guests.

The lawsuit in Las Vegas federal court claims that the company failed to adopt “adequate and reasonable” cybersecurity practices or safeguard his personal details.
