ForgePoint Launches New $450M Cybersecurity Fund

Cybersecurity venture capital firm ForgePoint Capital has unveiled a new $450 million fund, which it says is the biggest devoted to early-stage startups in the industry. So reports TechCrunch.

money 3488345 640 smallForgePoint’s Fund II, as the new fund will be called, has already backed startups such as Cysiv, Huntress Labs, and Secure Code Warrior.

The fund’s goal is to invest in the growing amount of startups in the privacy and cybersecurity space that could go on to large public offerings, the way that CloudFlare and Crowdstrike did in 2019.
