Data of 80 Million U.S. Households Exposed in Reported Breach

Full names, addresses and other personal details on around 80 million U.S. households appear to have been exposed in a data breach of unknown origins. So reports USA Today.

A team of Israeli security researchers found the 24GB database, a potential tool for cyber criminals, on a Microsoft cloud server. However, the owner of the data has not been identified. Microsoft said in a statement, “We notified the owner of the database and it is no longer publicly accessible.”
