Huawei Founder Denies Spying Claims After Executive’s Arrest

Ren Zhengfei, the founder of Chinese tech giant Huawei, has shot down U.S. allegations that the company assists its government’s espionage efforts. So reports Bloomberg.

Zhengfei’s rare public statement came after a sales executive was arrested in Poland on suspicion of spying. Although the executive was fired, the charges intensified America’s concerns about Huawei amid China’s growing economic and technological clout.
