Facebook Fears Emails Show Zuckerberg Knew of Privacy Issues

“Unearthed emails” appear to show that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg “knew of problematic privacy practices.” So reports The Wall Street Journal.

The news came as Facebook has billions of dollars set aside for a possible settlement with the Federal Trade Commission over alleged privacy violations. Facebook disputed the article after it was published, saying: “At no point did Mark or any other Facebook employee knowingly violate the company’s obligations under the FTC consent order nor do any emails exist that indicate they did.”
