Tesla Admits Data Breach, Blames Two Former Employees

Tesla has revealed that more than 75,000 company employees had their personal information exposed in a data breach, which the automaker said was the work of two former employees. So reports TechCrunch.

tesla 1724773 1920According to a disclosure filed with Maine’s attorney general, a Tesla investigation discovered that the two individuals leaked the information, including Social Security numbers, to German newspaper Handelsblatt.

Tesla said it had sued the former employees and that the newspaper confirmed it would not publish the leaked data.
