MOVEit Breach Fallout Widens to 600,000 Medicare Recipients  

The list of victims from the Clop ransomware group’s attack on file-transfer software MOVEit’s servers has continued to grow, and now includes 612,000 Medicare beneficiaries. So reports The Hill.

MedicareThe Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced that the Medicare breach might have exposed beneficiaries’ names, Social Security numbers, medical histories and other personal information.

CMS and government contractor Maximus Federal Services said they were notifying those “potentially affected.”
