Western Digital Informs Customers Of Data Breach  

Western Digital has notified online store customers that an unauthorized party accessed “limited personal information.” So reports TechCrunch.

western digitalIn an update to a March disclosure of a cybersecurity incident affecting the data-storage manufacturer, Western Digital said the breach involved “customer names, billing and shipping addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers,” as well as “passwords and partial credit card numbers.”

A spokesperson for the company declined to specify the number of customers impacted in the incident.
