Cyberattack Concerns Spread Among CISOs: Survey  

The share of chief information security officers who are concerned about a cyberattack hitting their organization has jumped in the past year, according to a survey by Proofpoint. So reports Cybersecurity Dive.

arrow up iconBased on responses from 1,600 CISOs from a total of 16 countries, 68% said they believe that their organizations face a risk of a material cyberattack, up from 48% in 2022’s survey.

Plus, about 60% of CISOs indicated that their organizations weren’t ready to handle a targeted attack, versus 50% in 2022.
