Fortra Breach Hits Four Stanford Hospitals  

Stanford has confirmed that patients at four of the university’s hospitals have had their protected health information exposed after a security breach at cybersecurity firm Fortra affected the hospitals’ mental health service vendor, Brightline. So reports Becker’s Health IT.

FortraExposed information at the handful of California hospitals included names, dates of birth and coverage details, according to Stanford.

Hospitals in Tennessee and Alabama have also been affected by the Fortra breach.
