Microsoft Hopes to Cut Cybersecurity Labor Shortage in Half By 2025  

Microsoft has announced that it will provide a free curriculum to community colleges nationwide as part of a plan to cut the U.S. cybersecurity workforce shortage in half by 2025. So reports CNBC.

hiring people 4009327 640Microsoft said it expects to train about 250,000 people and bring them into cybersecurity jobs.

Microsoft president Brad Smith said in a press conference that “we should be optimistic that in the next 12-24 months we can start to make a real dent.”
