Facebook to Shut Down Facial Recognition Program  

Facebook has announced that it plans to end its facial recognition system and delete facial recognition data on more than one billion people. So reports Ars Technica.

An artificial-intelligence executive for the social media giant, which recently rebranded as Meta, said that “we still see facial recognition technology as a powerful tool.”
