Defense Official Quits Over U.S. Cybersecurity Concerns  

Nicolas Chaillan, who was chief software officer for the U.S. Air Force, has resigned after three years in the role, claiming the country’s readiness for cyber conflict will be no match for China. So reports The Independent.

china 156219 640smallChaillan recently told the Financial Times that the United States would “have no competing fighting chance against China in 15 to 20 years.”

Chaillan contended in the interview that developments in advancing technologies have put China too far ahead for the United States to catch up and compared preparedness at some levels of government to “kindergarten.”
