Ford Comments On Outsiders’ Discovery of Security Flaw  

Six months after cybersecurity researchers informed Ford about a security bug in its internal system, the automaker has given itself a clean bill of cyber health. So reports The Detroit Free Press.

FordA Ford spokesman said that “we don’t believe any sensitive personal information about employees or customers was accessed or compromised in this instance.”

Cybersecurity researchers criticized Ford for the delayed statement and a lack of transparency around the bug, which reportedly exposed customer databases, employee records and internal tickets.
