Dominion National Settles Nine-year Data Breach for $2M  

Health insurer Dominion National has agreed to pay $2 million to resolve a class action over a data breach that lasted nine years. So reports SC Magazine.

Dominion NationalThe breach, which began as early as 2010 and was discovered in 2019, exposed the highly sensitive information of 2.9 million patients.

The incident was the second-biggest disclosed to the Department of Health and Human Services in 2019.
