Parler Data Leak Could Show Platform’s Part in Capitol Assault

A hacker’s archive of posts from Parler could demonstrate what part the social media platform played in the Washington insurrection that took place on January 6. So reports USA Today.

parler2The hacker said she wanted to save every post from the deadly Capitol riot before Parler was brought offline, like "a bunch of people running into a burning building trying to grab as many things as we can.”

Amazon’s web hosting service suspended Parler, shutting the platform down on January 11, following the app’s removal from the Google and Apple app stores.
