Axed CISA Chief Krebs Hits Back at Trump’s 'Nonsense' Vote-fraud Claims

Christopher Krebs, the Trump appointee who was fired by the president after calling the recent election the most secure in U.S. history, has maintained his original statement in a nationally televised interview. So reports Yahoo.

 

ballot 1294935 640 smallAppearing on 60 Minutes, Krebs reiterated that despite Trump’s claims of widespread voter fraud, for which the president has not provided evidence, the multiple recounts confirming president-elect Joe Biden’s victory have proven such allegations to be “nonsense and a hoax.” 

In a post-interview tweet, Trump disputed Krebs’s assertion about the security of the election.
