Verizon Details Approach to 5G Network Security

Verizon has shed light on what it’s doing to secure its 5G network. So reports CNET.

VerizonThe company is reportedly testing out artificial intelligence and machine learning as well as network accelerators and so-called data fingerprints as it works to protect against potential 5G cyber threats.

“In all aspects of our network, from the core of the network to the radio access edge, even to the customer device, we have built our network to be secure,” said Srini Kalapala, Verizon’s vice president of network planning.
