A data dump known as “BlueLeaks” has uncovered hacked documents from more than 200 U.S. police departments and law enforcement agencies. So reports ZDNet.

blue light 73088 1920An activist group called Distributed Denial of Secrets published the 296-gigabyte data set, claiming it was provided by the Anonymous hacker collective.

A Twitter spokesperson said the social media site has banned the @DDoSecrets Twitter account for sharing hacked data in violation of company policy.
