Beer Company in 'Crisis' After Successive Cyber Attacks

Lion Australia, the largest beer brewer Down Under, has experienced multiple cyberattacks in a matter of days, in what CEO Stuart Irvine depicted as a “cyber crisis” for the company. So reports The Sydney Morning Herald.

Lion AustraliaLion was hit by a second attack, further hobbling its manufacturing and information technology systems, a week after its systems were disrupted in a reported ransomware attack.

“We’re working to bring our breweries back online as soon as possible, hoping to get a number of our breweries back up and running very soon,” the company, which employs about 7,000 people in Australia, said in a statement.
