GE Warns Employees of Supplier Data Breach

General Electric has cautioned its current and former employees that their personal information may have been exposed in a data breach at a supplier. So reports Tech Target.

cyber security 1784985 640smallCanon Business Services, which processes employee documents for the Fortune 500 giant, suffered a security breach between February 3 and February 14, according to the disclosure by GE.

Sensitive data pilfered “may have included names, addresses, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, bank account numbers, passport numbers, dates of birth, and other information contained in the relevant forms,” GE warned.
