Dell to Sell Cybersecurity Unit for $2.08B

Dell Technologies has announced a $2.08 billion deal to sell its RSA cybersecurity business to a consortium led by Symphony Technology Group, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board and AlpInvest Partners. So reports TheStreet.com.

Dell said in a statement that the deal includes RSA Archer, RSA NetWitness Platform, RSA SecurID, RSA Fraud and Risk Intelligence and RSA Conference, the world’s biggest security conference.
