The City of Las Vegas has acknowledged that its computer system experienced a “cyber compromise.” So reports NBC 3 Las Vegas.

las vegas sign 2237590 1280“When aware of the attempt, we immediately took steps to protect our data systems,” said David Riggleman, the communications director at the City of Las Vegas.

Riggleman said the cyber attack may have resulted in brief service interruptions.
