On the Border Restaurant Chain Warns of Data Breach

On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina has disclosed a data breach potentially affecting customers who used a credit or debit card at certain locations earlier this year. So reports Restaurant Business Online.

The Mexican restaurant chain said on its website that company locations in 27 states may have been breached between April 10 and August 10 as a result of “malware installed on a payment processing system.”

Information that could have been stolen by hackers included customers’ names and credit card details, On the Border said.
