DoorDash Faces Class Action Over Data Breach

DoorDash has been hit with a class-action lawsuit after confirming a breach that compromised the data of almost 5 million people. So reports The New York Post.

The lawsuit, filed by a Queens woman in Brooklyn federal court, claims that the food-delivery app company’s leaked data has been making the rounds on the Dark Web. DoorDash user Melissa Nelson also contends that no one has independently verified the company’s assertion that users who joined the platform after April 5, 2018, were unimpacted.
