Google Launches New Password Security Tool

Google has unveiled a new tool called Password Checkup, which automatically scans saved passwords for trouble and notifies users if their passwords were compromised in a data breach. So reports CNN Business.

The feature was initially rolled out earlier in 2019 through Google’s Chrome browser but now it is also part of the company’s password manager.

Google’s free tools could reportedly threaten paid password manager services such as 1Password.
