CISOs Bet Breach Experience Will Help on Job Market

More than half of chief information security officers say undergoing a data breach makes them more employable, a new survey by Optiv Security finds. So reports TechRadar.

A few years ago, a data breach was widely seen as a reason for a CISO to be fired. Now, according to the survey, 58% of CISOs indicate that experiencing a breach actually makes them more attractive, not less, on the job market. The survey results include responses from 200 CISOs and equivalent senior security executives in the United States and Britain.
