Not-guilty Plea Entered in Capital One Hacking Case

The Seattle software engineer accused of hacking into Capital One’s servers and exposing the data of more than 100 million people has pleaded not guilty. So reports The Seattle Times.

Ex-Amazon engineer Paige Thompson faces up to 25 years in prison on federal wire- and computer-fraud charges. U.S. Magistrate Judge Brian Tsuchida set Thompson’s case for a November 4 jury trial.
