Arby’s Nears $2M Data Breach Settlement

Consumers in a class-action lawsuit against Arby’s over a data breach at the fast-food chain have asked a Georgia federal judge to give final approval to a proposed $2 million settlement. So reports Restaurant Business.

The breach, which took place from October 8, 2016, to January 12, 2017, allegedly compromised customers’ credit card information. The suit claims Arby’s negligently safeguarded the data, while Arby’s has denied wrongdoing.
