Facebook Facing Criminal Probe Over Data Deals

A grand jury in New York has subpoenaed records from at least two smartphone makers as part of an investigation by federal prosecutors into Facebook. So reports The New York Times.

The inquiry focused on Facebook’s data-sharing deals with 150 of the world’s largest technology companies. Facebook said it was cooperating with investigators.
