Dating Site OkCupid Denies Breach Amid Hacking Complaints

“There has been no security breach at OkCupid,” said a spokesperson for the data website. The response came after multiple users complained that their accounts appeared to have been hacked. So reports TechCrunch.

“All websites constantly experience account takeover attempts,” the spokesperson said. “There has been no increase in account takeovers on OkCupid.” TechCrunch notes that OkCupid and other dating sites don’t use two-factor authentication.
