“We are working on close to about a dozen things, likely eight … to be part of an upcoming executive action to address the gaps we’ve identified in our review of this incident.” said Anne Neuberge, deputy national security adviser for cyber and emerging technology, in a press briefing.
Neuberger said the attack, which federal authorities have said was probably the work of Russian hackers, exposed nine government agencies and roughly 100 private companies.
