Russian Cyberthreat Has Been a Dud in Ukraine: Experts  

Russian hackers have wreaked less havoc on Ukraine and its allies than expected, Crowdstrike co-founder Dmitri Alperovitch and Mandiant global intelligence chief Sandra Joyce said at the RSA Conference. So reports Cybersecurity Dive.

ukraine g2afeb4ef7 640Alperovitch noted that Russia’s attack on Viasat’s KA-SAT management network at the outset of the conflict was still its biggest cyber win, and its impact on Ukrainian military communications didn’t last long.

Joyce credited Ukrainian cyber defenders’ sophisticated resiliency, developed during years of Russian cyber incursions.
