In an interview ahead of the HIMSS Healthcare Cybersecurity Forum virtual event, set for December 6-7, Cardwell addressed the current threat landscape and the “continual evolving risk” from ransomware.
According to Cardwell, some of the best defenses against ransomware include email filtering, stronger passwords, multi-factor authentication, automated software-patching and user education.
