Apple Hits Brakes On Child Protection Features Amid Privacy Uproar  

Apple recently announced child protection features that it planned to launch later this year, but the tech giant has postponed the rollout after a fervent outcry over privacy concerns. So reports The Verge.

AppleApple said in an update on its website, “Based on feedback from customers, advocacy groups, researchers and others, we have decided to take additional time over the coming months to collect input and make improvements before releasing these critically important child safety features.”

Among the scheduled changes was a contentious feature would scan iPhones for known images of child sexual abuse.
