China’s Cybersecurity Watchdog Cracks Down on Two Recent IPOs  

The Chinese government’s new cybersecurity regulator has opened up investigations into two more companies that recently floated on U.S. exchanges. So report Bloomberg and Reuters.

china 156219 640smallThe Cyberspace Administration of China called a stop to new online registrations on the platforms of Full Truck Alliance, known as Manbang, and Kanzhun, known as Boss Zhipin.

The move, which follows the launch of a similar review into Didi Global, highlights Beijing’s heightened scrutiny of Chinese tech companies’ data-handling practices, particularly as companies have listed on U.S. markets.
