House Bipartisan Duo Pushes CISA Funding Boost

A bipartisan pair of lawmakers has called for money for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency in the wake of recent cyberattacks. So reports The Hill.

capitol 720677 640smallIn a letter to the heads of the House Appropriations Committee, Reps. Jim Langevin (D-R.I.) and Mike Gallagher (R-Wisc.) asked for at least $400 million more in CISA funding in the forthcoming budget.

President Biden’s recent budget proposal would allocate $2.1 billion for CISA in fiscal 2022, up roughly $100 million from fiscal 2021.
