Northwestern Memorial HealthCare Breach Affects 56,000

Northwestern Memorial HealthCare has disclosed a data breach exposing the personal records of roughly 56,000 donors and patients. So reports the Chicago Tribune.

Blackbaud said the attackers’ “motivation was to disrupt our business by encrypting customer files in our data centers, which we were able to prevent.”
