Passwords that Independence Blue Cross members had reused, and which were exposed through other third-party breaches, were used to access pages within the health plan’s member portal between March 17 and April 30, Independence Blue Cross said.
Social Security numbers, credit card numbers and other financial data were not exposed, according to the health plan.
