White House Report Touts 2019 Decline in Cybersecurity Incidents

A White House report says that the federal government keeps stepping up its cybersecurity. So reports FedScoop.

administration 1846270 1920The federal government experienced an 8% annual decline in cybersecurity incidents during fiscal 2019, according to a report (PDF) submitted to Congress by the Office of Management and Budget.

The report, mandated by the Federal Information Security Management Act, “shows agencies are making significant progress in managing risk,” said Chief Information Officer Suzette Kent in a statement.
