Click2Gov, which many local governments use for parking tickets and other municipal fees, suffered a rash of data breaches in 2017 and 2018, and breaches returned last year to such cities as Ames, Iowa and Bakersfield, Calif.
Bend is moving from Click2Gov to a new payment system, InvoiceCloud, while College Station has inked a deal with another rival, Paymentus.
