Software Group Snuffs Out Reports of Marijuana User Database Breach

The software company singled out for a data leak that might have affected more than 30,000 medical marijuana users nationwide has said that patients probably don’t need to feel paranoid. So reports WHIO TV7.

Privacy researchers at vpnMentor said they discovered a security flaw in THCSuite’s point of sales systems that exposed marijuana patients’ personal information. That included customers of Bloom Medicinals, a dispensary chain based in Akron, Ohio.
