Wawa, Landry’s Warn Customers of Data Breaches

East Coast convenience store chain Wawa and Houston restaurant company Landry’s are among the latest businesses to inform customers that their personal information may have been compromised.

Security Data Breach cyber security 1784985 1280Banks reissued thousands of Wawa-branded credit and debit cards after the chain disclosed a roughly nine-month data breach that exposed cardholder names, numbers and expiration dates used at “potentially all” of its 850 stores, as the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Landry’s, owner of more than 60 restaurant chains including Morton’s Steakhouse and Bubba Gump Shrimp, warned of its own roughly seven-month breach, as 5 NBC DFW reports.
