Trump Executive Order Aims to Boost Federal Cybersecurity Staff

President Donald Trump has signed an executive order that seeks to beef up the cybersecurity workforce within the U.S. government. So reports The Hill.

The order sets up a rotational program among workers at federal agencies, similar to a bill recently passed in Congress. The order also establishes a “President’s Cup Cybersecurity Competition,” takes steps aimed at helping federal agencies retrain workers for cybersecurity jobs and mandates guidelines for training federal cybersecurity employees.
